Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 August 2026 · Interview Sarthi is operated by an individual seller in India; payments are processed by Dodo Payments Inc as merchant of record.

Short version: the software runs on your computer. Your audio, resume and transcripts go from your PC directly to the AI provider under your key. We run no servers and never receive them.

What the software processes, and where

Meeting audio — captured on your PC and streamed to Google Gemini (or OpenAI, if you add a key) for transcription and answers. It is not sent to us.
Your resume — converted to text on your PC and stored in %APPDATA%\Interview Sarthi. A compressed summary is sent to the AI provider with each answer request. A scanned PDF is sent once to Gemini to be read.
Transcripts and summaries — saved only on your PC. Delete the folder above to remove them.
API keys — stored on your PC in config.env. Never transmitted to us.

What we receive

Purchase data — name, email, country and payment details are collected by Dodo Payments (our merchant of record) under their privacy policy. We see your name, email and order.
License checks — on start-up and about every 10 minutes during a session, the software sends your license key and a device name to Dodo Payments to confirm the pass is valid. Nothing about the interview is included.
Support email — whatever you choose to send us, including any problem report you attach.

What we do not do

No analytics, no tracking pixels, no ads, no selling or sharing of data. The website is a static page and sets no cookies.

Your rights

Email us to see or delete what we hold about you (your order details). For payment records, contact Dodo Payments. Data on your own PC is under your control at all times.

AI providers

Google's handling of API data is described in the Gemini API terms; on the free tier Google may use API content to improve its services. Use a paid key if that matters for your interviews.
