Practise the TCS NQT interview out loud

Practise explaining your own projects and answering follow-up questions before your TCS interview. Add your CV and the actual job description, then speak your answers out loud and review the feedback.

TCS’s linked NQT page covers the 2024–2026 graduate batches. It describes Foundation and Advanced test sections and interview categories based on test performance. The advertised registration is closed; use the official page for future notices. TCS All India NQT hiring.

Use the invitation for timing, language, location, permitted tools and documents. This practice page does not guarantee a round count, salary, pass mark or selection result.

Explain your project beyond its summary

Say what problem you worked on, what you personally built, why you chose that approach and what you would change. Be ready to support any numbers on your CV.

Practise a follow-up without starting again

If asked for more detail, add a decision, example or test result. Repeating the opening answer does not fill the gap. Use the feedback report to choose one weak answer for your next practice session.

A 20-minute practice plan for TCS

Use your free demo to find one or two answers that need work. This is a suggested practice plan, not an estimate of the employer’s interview duration.

  1. Upload your real CV, not a tidied one. The whole point is that the questions come from what the panel will be holding.
  2. Choose the language requested for your interview. Practise switching only if the interviewer permits it.
  3. Answer out loud, at speaking pace. Reading an answer you have written is not the same skill.
  4. When a question about your project comes back a second time asking for more, do not repeat yourself. That second ask is the panel checking whether there is anything underneath.
  5. Read the report before you practise again. The pause before your answer and your words per minute are measured from your microphone, and both are things a panel notices without naming.

Does this reproduce the TCS interview?

No. Prep Sarthi creates practice questions from your CV and target role. It is independent of TCS; questions, round structure and hiring decisions come from the employer.

What should I upload?

Use the CV you plan to submit and the actual job description, if available. Check that your project details and dates are accurate before starting.

What should I do with the feedback?

Review the weak answers, check suggested facts against your own experience and practise those answers again. AI feedback can be wrong and is not an employer score.
