Your preparation checklist

Technical preparation	Explain your project, OOP examples, SQL queries and the skills in your CV and job description.
Behavioural preparation	Prepare a real example of teamwork, a difficult deadline and a mistake you corrected.

Pay and contract terms

Read the current role and your own offer for compensation and joining conditions. Older drive summaries do not establish today’s pay or selection criteria.

If your invitation includes a game or communication task

Use the instructions and practice material supplied by the assessment provider. Check your microphone, connection and input devices. Do not assume a scoring rule or language restriction from an unofficial guide.

Interview questions to practise

Practise both technical and behavioural answers. These are preparation examples, not confirmed questions from an employer.

• Behavioral, with structure expected: “Tell me about a time you worked in a team that disagreed”, “a deadline you nearly missed”, “something you did beyond coursework”. Use one real incident each, told as situation → what you did → result. Small and true beats big and vague: “Hackathon mein hamara idea 2 baje raat ko break ho gaya. Humne scope aadha kiya, core demo pe focus kiya, aur top-10 mein finish kiya. Lesson: cutting scope early is a skill.”
• Your project, then the honesty check: “what was your exact contribution?” One clear sentence about your module wins; claiming the whole group project loses.
• Fundamentals: OOP pillars with your own example, SQL joins live, what an API is, basics of the one language your resume declares.
• “Why Capgemini?” One level above “global brand”: “Two reasons. The European client base: different domains from the usual US-centric work, aur mujhe engineering plus consulting ka mix pasand hai. And the structured entry: training pehle, allocation baad mein.”
• The HR minutes: relocation (Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar and more), shifts for some roles, gaps and backlogs, full scripts in the ACC HR round guide. As everywhere: your spoken answers must match your application form.

Mistakes to avoid during practice

• An unfamiliar assessment format: format surprise, not low ability.
• Vague behavioral answers with no incident, no action, no result.
• A resume claim that dies on the first follow-up.
• Contradicting the application form on relocation or backlogs.
• Panic silence. Ask for ten seconds, structure, answer, the pause is trainable.
